West Licking Fire District offers CPR/First Aid/BLS classes to area businesses and residents. Each class is held at Station 1, located at 851 East Broad Street, Pataskala, with a total of ten participants. Click here to register for an available classroom training.
Need to re-certify? Call Fire Marshal Fred Hughes to find out about the Blended Program. This program allows the participant to take the classroom portion of CPR/ First Aid online and then schedule a time to complete the hands on practical portion of the class at the West Licking Fire District Training Center.

In an effort to help reduce possible injury and/or death to children in vehicles, West Licking Joint Fire District conducts vehicle safety seat inspections for District residents. Inspections may range from installation assistance of a new car seat for expecting parents, to educating parents on the general guidelines of installing various types of car seats along with the appropriate age groups associated with the proper child safety seat.
The West Licking Joint Fire District offers a 3 day program for children who have an interest in fire play and/or has had an issue with fire setting. Parent(s) are encouraged to participate in the program to educate and assist in the prevention of fire setting and/or fire play. The program includes a survey for the child and parent(s), a questionnaire for the parent(s), homework assignments for the child, educational videos about fire play and fire setting, along with one-on-one discussions and educational instruction from a Juvenile Fire Setter Intervention Specialist.
